A military plane crashed in a Texas neighborhood on Sunday morning, damaging three homes and displacing residents, police said.
The crash happened at around 11:15 a.m. between the 4,000 blocks of Tejas and Dakota in Lake Worth, Texas, about two miles northeast of Joint Reserve Base at Fort Worth.
The US Navy identified the aircraft as a T-45C Goshawk jet trainer assigned to Air Wing 2 training at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas.
Both pilots ejected before the crash. One of the pilot’s parachutes got stuck in power lines, while the other pilot was found nearby, Lake Worth Police Chief JT Manoushagian said.
