The “Stranger Things” star – who recently deleted her TikTok page – shared her experience with a fan who has gone beyond her limits on her Instagram Stories.
Millie Bobby Brown has seen the ups and downs of growth in the spotlight, admitting in a recent Instagram Stories that even now, she “still tries to navigate it all and it’s still overwhelming,” per IS! News.
But that doesn’t give his fans the right to just go beyond his personal space, limits, or comfort level. There are things like respect, decency and just the courtesy that is sometimes lacking.
The 16-year-old “Stranger things” The star burst into tears in a video posted to her Instagram Stories Monday about meeting with fans that violated all of her boundaries because apparently the word ‘no’ was just not an acceptable choice.

The incident apparently happened when she was recognized while shopping with her mother. A fan asked if she could take a video of the actress, which Brown found rather odd in itself.
“I said, ‘Uh, no.’ But why would anyone want to be filmed? Of me? It’s not like the two of us, ”she told herself. A selfie or a short video of the fan and Brown would at least make sense. It was like a strange request from the paparazzi.
But the bottom line is that Brown wasn’t interested at the time, and that should have been enough for the fan. Alas, this was not the case.
“I was paying and she walked past me and started filming me again,” Brown continued. “And I said, ‘I’m a human being. Like, what more can I ask of you?'”
“She said, ‘So I can’t take a video of a human being?’ And I said, ‘No, not when I said no.’ “

At this point, Brown was visibly upset as she recalled the experience with tears in her eyes. “It just makes me upset when people try to push the boundaries, and I just wish people were more respectful.”
And while the fan probably thought it was a pretty straightforward request, and not much as it didn’t force Brown to do anything, Brown was nonetheless upset that he was asked and then his preference. has been blatantly and rather aggressively ignored.
“I don’t need to justify it to anyone,” she explained. “If I don’t want to be filmed, I don’t have to be.”
Later in the video, she came back to this, perhaps wondering if there was something missing about fame, a lack of choice or control in her own life. “I’m still trying to navigate all of this and it’s always overwhelming,” she admitted.

“I’m going to take a picture with you but when you push the line and try to beat me up, where is my right to say no?” she asked.
Ultimately, however, Brown wishes people could just “show more respect for others, no matter who they are, what they do.” She summed it up concisely: “These are just manners.”
Brown later returned to assure her fans that she was “totally fine now”, admitting that she was “moved in the moment because I felt uncomfortable and lacked respect.”
She concluded this unhappy chapter with the message: “It’s important to set your limits and speak up. I love you guys. Be kind to each other!” You can check out his video and follow-up message captured in the Tweets below:
