Millie Bobby Brown on Bad Fan Interaction

“I just wish people were more respectful.”

But fame has its downsides, especially when people refuse to acknowledge your personal space – a fact Brown reminded his fans in a touching Instagram post, like E! points out.

Brown recounted a recent Christmas shopping trip with her mom, in which she was recognized by a fan: “She said, ‘Can I take a video of you?’ I said, “Uh, no.” But why would anyone want to be filmed? Of me? It’s not like the two of us. “

“I was paying and she walked past me and started filming me again. And I said, ‘I’m a human being. Like, what more can I ask of you?'”

Through her tears, Brown recalled the fan’s rude reaction: “She said ‘So I can’t take a video of a human?’ And I said, “No, not when I said no.” It upsets me when people try to push the boundaries, and I just wish people were more respectful. ”

Brown ended his video by asking his fans to show more respect to his personal space, as well as the world at large. “You have to show more respect to others, no matter who they are, what they do,” she said. “These are just manners.”

Brown then returned to Instagram to clarify that she felt better about the situation, but the Strange thingsThe Writer’s Room apparently offered kind words of support to their star on Twitter.

Be kind to others. Find compassion. Wear a mask. All of these things cost zero dollars and use no power.

What happened to Brown sounds horrific, and it serves as a lesson for anyone who spots a star in public: Remember, they’re a person too. Don’t be silly, maybe give them some space and let them do their job!
