Brown made the reveal on his Instagram Story on Monday. In a now-deleted video, the young star explained that she was doing Christmas shopping with her mother, and while paying for gifts, a fan approached her to ask if she could film her.

“A girl came up to me and asked if I was anyone, and I said, ‘Yes’. She said, “Can I take a video of you? I said no.’ But why would anyone want to take a video of me? It’s not like the two of us, ”she said in a black and white video that appears to be shot from inside a car.

Despite her request, Brown said the fan had filmed her anyway, prompting her to ask for her privacy because she’s also a “human being.”

“What more can I ask you for?” I asked her and she said, “So I can’t take a video of a human being? And I said, “No, not when I said no,” Brown said, shedding tears.

“It just makes me feel when people try to push the boundaries and I just wish people were more respectful. I always try to navigate it all and it’s always overwhelming. I’ll take a photo with you but when you push back. the limits and try to fight over them … where are my rights to say no? “

“I’m making this video to say that you need to show more respect for other people. No matter who they are, what they do, show respect,” she added.

The “Enola Holmes” star then reassured fans that she was “perfectly fine now” in a follow-up post to her Instagram Story. She wrote that she “was emotional at the time because I felt uncomfortable and didn’t respect myself. It’s important to set your limits (sic) and talk. I love you guys. Be nice. with each other! “

That same day, the official Twitter account for the writers’ room “Stranger Things” posted a reminder on cuteness.
