American hip hop rapper and artist Megan Thee Stallion donates $ 1 million in bitcoin on Twitter to Cash App users. Thousands of people participate and many claim to have already received sats from the star.
Megan Thee Stallion donates Bitcoin
Megan Thee Stallion, also known as Hot Girl Meg, announced on Twitter on Thursday that she was handing out $ 1 million in bitcoin to users of the Cash app. “Thee Hot Girl coach is officially part of the @Cashapp squad,” she wrote. “To celebrate, I’m giving away $ 1 million in bitcoin to as many hotties as possible.” Will donate this million units until it is gone, so drop your Cashapp below with #Bitcoinmeg to get a chunk. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also confirmed in a tweet that this Bitcoin giveaway from Megan Thee Stallion was legitimate.
As of this writing, thousands of people on Twitter have participated. Hot Girl Meg’s tweet has been retweeted over 18,000 times, liked over 67,500 times and garnered over 172,000 comments. A number of people have also confirmed by providing screenshots of their Cash app that they have actually received bitcoin payments from the star.

According to screenshots posted by people claiming to have received sats from Megan Thee Stallion, the hip-hop artist gave between 43,000 sats and 50,000 sats to each recipient. Twitter handle @ 1nonlyrmonee posted a screenshot confirming receipt of 43,210 sats (~ $ 9.78) from Hot Girl Meg. “All of you, I’m such a geek. I just won a portion of Megan’s Bitcoin giveaway !! Thank you very much, I am always grateful, ”she wrote.
This is not the first time that the “Girls in the Hood” singer has given money to her fans. In August, she donated $ 1 million to celebrate a ‘WAP’ collaboration with fellow rapper and actress Cardi B. “We’re teaming up with Twitter and Cash App to celebrate All Powerful Women by giving a total of $ 1 million . .
