Microsoft's next augmented reality mobile game, Minecraft Earth, will be available in closed beta on Android devices in London, Mexico City, Seattle, Stockholm and Tokyo in the coming days.
The closed beta has been online for some time on some iOS devices, but this is the first time Android users, those who have signed up for the closed beta anyway, have had the chance to play.

"This deployment will take place throughout the week – so check regularly if Minecraft Earth has reached your town / village / cave!"

In addition to launching the beta version of Minecraft Earth on Android, we also announced today the introduction of a digital currency in the game, which will probably allow Microsoft to make the most of its money.
