President-elect Biden has vowed to raise the federal minimum wage to $ 15 an hour, which could lead to job losses and small business closures. Hillary Vaughn of FOX Business with more.
A new year will result in higher wages for workers in some states as minimum wage increases are expected to take effect.
Florida grabbed headlines in November when voters approved a measure that would gradually increase the state’s minimum wage to $ 15 an hour by 2026.
California, Connecticut, Illinois, and Maryland are among the other states that have approved their own lanes to hit $ 15 an hour over time.
Here’s a look at the states where wages will increase in 2021.
