Miranda Lambert involved in Georgia highway hit and run

Miranda Lambert recently shared photos from an “incredible” road trip with her husband Brendan McLoughlin, revealing that on the road a car swept the couple down the highway before taking off without a word.

While traveling through Georgia on their way back to their Tennessee home, the couple encountered an “erratic” driver.

“Unfortunately, on the way back through ATL, a hole in a small car with temperature plates drove erratically and tried to squeeze between us and a semi-truck traveling 70 on the I-20W,” Lambert tweeted. “He hit the draft and sent us down the left lane.”

She continued, “We did a pretty good fishtail, but we got down to the shoulder as quickly as possible to assess the damage. No one was hurt, thank God. But no one stopped either and the car sped away. (Cool Bro) We’re so grateful that nothing worse has happened.

Lambert, 37, added that she knew her mother’s prayers covered her family.

“Our vehicle and trailer could drive, so we made a report and drove home. I called mom right away to let her know that I know her prayers are still being heard because I know she prays for us every morning around 4.30am. Especially when we are on the road.

“And Brendan kept our trailer stable for being swept,” she added. “Thanks to @airstream_inc and @southlandrv, we will soon be fixed and back to our wandering ways. Anyway, overall it was an amazing trip and we learned that we have a lot to see and a lot to be thankful for.

Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot in January 2019, four years after their split from fellow country star and “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton.
