Jade Glab, of Belmar, was crowned Miss New Jersey 2019 inside the Superstar Theater at the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City on Saturday night.

Aged 19, he has won five consecutive wins in South Jersey and will represent the Garden State at the 2020 Miss America Contest.

Glab, who participated in this year's contest as Miss Central Jersey Beaches, attends Brookdale Community College and received a $ 16,000 bursary.

On the first night of competition, Glab won the talent prize with his operatic voice "O Mio Babbino Caro". According to her Miss New Jersey biography, she won the title of "Karaoke Superstar", a contest organized on the anthem of Royal Caribbean and Oasis of the Seas.

During its year as Miss New Jersey, Glab will promote its Healthy Children platform, Strong America.

Before the winner's announcement, Alyssa Sullivan, Miss Atlantic Shores and first-finalist, stood in the center of the stage, holding hands with the other candidates.

Sullivan, 23, of the Cape May Courthouse, was selected for her stage interview the first night but did not answer her question about euthanasia on Saturday.

Miss Central Jersey, Kyra Seeley, was second, Miss Eastern Shores, Natalie Ragazzo, and Miss South Shore, Jessica Indio, fourth.
