The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News last week that none of the leads produced any results.

The girl’s father, Don Wells, told Kingsport Times-News he didn’t expect to see his daughter alive.

They didn’t come down the driveway. They took a dog trail from the woods. [police K-9] dog they were using, that’s where the smell took them. Down through the woods, not the driveway. At Ben Hill Road, that’s where the smell of the dog stopped. “

Investigators are still looking for a red pickup truck, possibly a late 1990s Toyota, which may have been in the area where Summer went missing on June 15. She had tall ladder racks and white buckets in the bed.
