Mission: Impossible 7 & A Quiet Place 2 will air 45 days after theatrical release
Paramount Plus, a rebranding and extension of CBS All Access, is set to get a huge boost ahead of its March 4 launch. According to Variety, successful films Mission: impossible 7 and the long delay A Quiet Place, Part II will be available for streaming on the platform 45 days after their theatrical release.

The announcement was made during ViacomCBS Investor Day, which was specifically aimed at boosting the new streaming service. According to the deal, Paramount Plus also adjusted its pay TV release deal with Epix to deliver more than 2,500 movies to subscribers in addition to new releases.
Before the pandemic, a 90-day indoor run was the mandate of the films before studios could broadcast them on home video. Now that has all changed and the studios are changing that previous arrangement of Warner Bros. was the first to walk through the door when it decided to release its entire library of 2021 films on HBO Max on the same day they hit theaters. Universal is offering its films on premium video-on-demand platforms after 17 days in theaters. Thus, the 45-day period offered by Paramount is, in Variety’s words, “downright generous”.

Nonetheless, during ViacomCBS’s Investor Day presentation, Paramount studio head Jim Gianopulos claimed the studio is still committed to theatrical releases, although it will continue to seek a 30-day theatrical window. for most of its films and 45 days for larger images as above Impossible mission next and next Top Gun: Maverick.
At the moment, W: 7 is slated for a theatrical release on November 19 as A Quiet Place, Part II hits theaters on September 17th.
