A police officer from Biloxi, Missouri, was shot late Sunday night and the authorities are looking for the gunman, television reported.
The agent has not been identified. WLOX reported that the officer was rushed to a nearby hospital and died in the emergency room. Authorities reportedly published a photo of the suspect.
According to the Biloxi Sun Herald, an investigation was opened, including the Gulfport Police, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office. The agent would have been hit repeatedly.
According to the report, a law enforcement helicopter will help the police on the ground Monday morning.
