The health care provider told the TV channel that she was implementing an open door policy for community children, who could knock on her door before and after school for a snack.
"I noticed kids would always be hungry," Anderson said.
She added, "They get off the bus and just run because they never know what I have in the bag. I turn it on. Sometimes I give them special treats for my special babies.

She told the station that the bags are filled with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cookies, fruits, vegetables, juices and snacks.
"It makes me proud and I want it to continue. My goal is to, I want to go to different neighborhoods and give bags, "said Anderson.
She said that she prepares about 100 bags a day for children and that she sometimes has to make a little more unexpectedly.
"I'm going to start doing some more now. Maybe about 150, "said Anderson.

Anderson told KTVI that she lived according to a quote from Mother Teresa: "I alone can not change the world, but I can throw a stone on the waters to create many ripples."
