Federal officials have accused a Missouri woman of storming the U.S. Capitol and posing with President Nancy Pelosi’s nameplate during the riot.
At least three informants identified Emily Hernandez, of Sullivan, Missouri, to the FBI as the woman seen in videos and photos holding Pelosi’s wooden sign inside the Capitol on January 6, according to a criminal complaint.
Hernandez can apparently be seen in an ITV News video wearing sunglasses and a gray winter hat while wearing the nameplate and surrounded by other supporters of President Trump, the complaint says.
An informant sent the FBI a photo of Hernandez’s Facebook page apparently showing she was inside the Capitol. A second tipster shared a Snapchat screenshot of Hernandez that appeared to show her under the Capitol dome, according to the complaint.
Hernandez has yet to be arrested. She faces charges of illegal entry, disorderly or disruptive conduct and theft of federal property, the FBI said.
Authorities say more than 120 people have been arrested in connection with the Capitol Riot, which killed five people, including a Capitol policeman.
