Earlier, the judge had rejected a motion by the defense to dismiss the pending charges relating to the alleged rape of a 54-year-old hitchhiker and an unconscious teenager.
The jury said Monday in court that the other charges were deadlocked, but the judge ordered them to resume its deliberations on Tuesday.
The five women all testified at the nine-day trial. Winslow, who played for Cleveland, Tampa Bay, New England and the New York Jets, did not speak.
Defense lawyers pointed out inconsistencies in the accusers' testimony and argued that the women had invented these accusations to take advantage of Winslow's fortune, which would have earned more than $ 40 million in his 10 seasons with the NFL.
The five women said they did not know that Winslow was famous when they met him.
