Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Said Thursday to Laura Ingraham of Fox News that he had found himself in a rare agreement with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in D-Calif.

Earlier in the day, Pelosi unveiled a poster from "McConnell's Graveyard" listing several legislative elements written on headstones, suggesting that the GOP leader was happy to block the measures in Congress, explained McConnell in " The Ingraham Angle ".

The list included the People's Act, the Equality Act, the Pay Equity Act and the prevention of armed violence.

"She understood that," said McConnell, referring to Pelosi. "She's absolutely right, for the first time in my memory, I agree with Nancy Pelosi."

"I am indeed the" Grim Reaper "with regard to the socialist agenda that they began to wreck in the House with overwhelming democratic support and send it to America", he added. "What could turn us into a country we have never been."

Pelosi's poster contained a quote from McConnell in which he called himself the "Grim Reaper" to prevent some of the Democrats' legislative priorities from reaching President Trump's office.

"None of these measures will be passed by the Senate and they will not even be voted on, so think of me as the great mower," McConnell said.

Pelosi commented: "Chief McConnell seems proud to call himself the" Grim Reaper ", he is part of his political campaign."

McConnell told Ingraham that he was not considering approving items likely to move the country in the left direction.

"It's a total socialism that works in the House, and as long as I'm the Senate's majority leader, none of this is going anywhere," he said.

The Republican has mentioned several elements he opposes, claiming that he claimed the support of some Democrats, including the addition of a new state to the Union.

"They plan to make the District of Columbia a state, which would give them two new Democratic senators," he said.

"They are about to do other things … the Green New Deal, Medicare-for-all," he added.
