Ten Buckeyes won’t be available for Saturday’s game with Maryland while three more are in-game decisions.

Redshirt running back Miyan Williams will not adjust to Ohio State for the second week in a row. Williams, who started the first two games of the season and was named one of the game’s two offensive players in Game 1 of the season, has now received just nine runs since the loss to Ohio State in of the second week against Oregon.

The three players listed as game time decisions are Julian Fleming, Demario McCall and Tyreke Smith. Fleming and Smith have both been down for the past two games, while McCall – who has played 39 cornerback snaps in the past two weeks – is a new addition to the status report.

With Smith absent at the defensive end, real freshman JT Tuimoloau has started against Akron and Rutgers, and is expected to do so again against Maryland on Saturday if Smith can’t go.

Linebacker Palaie Gaoteote, who made a decision during the game against Rutgers but didn’t eventually adjust for the Buckeyes, is expected to be available against Maryland as he is not listed in the status report.

Defensive linemen Mike Hall and Darrion Henry-Young have both been listed as unavailable against Rutgers, but both appear to be available to play against Maryland if their numbers are called.

Jantzen Dunn won’t be available for the Buckeyes against Maryland as the real freshman safety left the Rutgers game after suffering what Ryan Day said this week was a “long-term” injury.

Saturday’s kickoff is scheduled for noon at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
