NL West suitors watch Duffy
The Dodgers and Giants are both interested in Royals left-hander Danny Duffy, MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand reports (Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle first signaled the Giants’ interest in Duffy).
Duffy is currently on the injured list with flexor strain and could even be out until September, so that would be a move into the last month of the season and then the playoffs.
Duffy, 32, is 4-3 with a 2.51 ERA (182 ERA +), 1.21 WHIP and 65 strikeouts against 22 walks in 61 innings this season.
