MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A high school freshman who has been bullied on his clothes has a reason to smile, and it is a comforting gift from two of his classmates.

"I was very happy," said Michael Todd. "Shocked completely."

Michael begins his freshman year at MLK College Preparatory School in Memphis. He says he has been bullied for three consecutive weeks at his new school.

"I have been bullied all my life," he said.

He wore the same clothes every day and the school students laughed at him.

"I really do not have clothes at home," Michael said. "My mother can not buy clothes for me because I grow up too fast."

Suddenly, what was supposed to be an ordinary Monday turned into a day that Michael would never forget. He was removed from his third-period class when two of the school's football players, Kristopher Graham and Antwan Garrett, handed him a gift.

Michael suddenly froze. The gift was a bag full of shirts, shorts, shoes, etc.

"When I saw people laughing and harassing him, I felt the need to do something," said Kristopher.

Kristopher scanned his closet and grabbed a bunch of clothes and texted his friend Antwan for help. He admits that he was also part of the bullying, but immediately felt the need to turn the situation around.

"He was not smiling or anything and I was like:" I think that will make you smile, "Kristopher said. "I told him, we're in the same third period, and I'm sorry to laugh at you, and I want to give you something to catch up with."

The tender moment was filmed on video and help did not stop in the boys' high school hallways.

People from other states watched the video and said they wanted to send Michael new clothes.

"It was a weak moment for me," said Antwan. "I almost cried."

All this thanks to two high school students who want to put an end to bullying, and Michael could not be more grateful.

"You are the best of all my life," Michael told his two new friends.

Antwan and Kristopher said that they hoped to inspire others to help people in need.
