Modern Family actress Julie Bowen and her sister helped save a woman who passed out on a hiking trail in Utah.
A woman named Minnie John was visiting Arches National Park with her family last week when she had a brief medical episode on the runway only to find herself helped by the famous actress and her doctor sister, Annie.
John explained that she was hiking the trail with her family when she started to feel unwell. Rather than having her whole family complete her hike, she decided to stay on a rock while her husband and children continued. She remembers sitting down and starting to feel a little better when a breeze hit her. Unfortunately, his improvement was short-lived.
She apparently passed out and recalled in a long Facebook post that she remembers waking up with a familiar voice helping her.

“Next time I hear someone with a familiar voice asking me questions. I was wondering if I was watching TV. My eyes were closed and they said everything would be fine and they were cleaning my face and groomed me, ”she wrote. “I heard that familiar voice saying that everything will be fine, have a doctor clean me up. After so many questions and gooey things in my mouth, giving me electrolytes.”
She continued, “That face was so familiar again and I asked her again if I knew her or if she was famous and the doctor said yes. As my eyes started to focus more she smiled and looked up. took off her hair elastic and shook it while Her sister the doctor asked me to guess and I told her I had just hit my head, I don’t remember. She said with a smile “Modern Family “and I said of course! I told her she was so beautiful. She introduced me to her sister Annie, the doctor, and that’s of course Julie Bowen!”

It turns out the woman had fallen forward when she passed out, hitting her nose on the ground. She later said the injury fractured her nose and required five stitches. She also noted that in addition to dehydration on the “treacherous” trail, she was diabetic and clearly allowed her blood sugar to drop too low. Fortunately, in addition to having a doctor and bandages on hand, Bowen came prepared with some snacks to help John recover.
Meanwhile, other hikers made their way up the trail to let John’s family know about the situation so they could come and take him off the trail.
“I praise God for all the doctors and nurses we have in our lives! They really are superheroes! And these celebrities are awesome human beings too! I love you Julie and Annie and now I have been famous for a minute for my antics! ” she concludes.

Representatives for Bowen made no comment when contacted by Fox News.
However, she recently posted an Instagram video of herself vacationing in Moab, Utah, enjoying a ride in a pair of all-terrain vehicles with her children.
