A frequent Call of Duty leaker claims to reveal some of the new content believed to be in the works for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 7.

With the launch of Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops last November, new content updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare appears to have come to an end, with Season 6 being the last major season of this game. However, there have been rumors that a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 7 is on its way and is expected to add new maps, weapons, and more to the popular first-person shooter. And now frequent Call of Duty Leaker TheGamingRevolution shed more light on what fans can expect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 7.

Fans should take this information with a grain of salt, but TheGamingRevolution has accurately revealed Call of Duty news in the past. According to their information, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 7 kicks off Thursday, March 11, and will coincide with a special event at Warzone. Obviously, the Call of Duty: Warzone The Verdansk map is going to be destroyed by a nuclear bomb, which should completely change the complexion of the popular battle royale game.

In regards to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare itself goes, Season 7 would add a lot of new content to the game. This is said to include fan favorite character Soap as a playable operator, which was leaked for the game months ago. Soap is mentioned in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign, but has never been seen, so adding it to the game will be a big deal for fans of the Modern war series.

If TheGamingRevolution information is correct, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans will be able to compete on a variety of new maps. The Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare map Killhouse would be one of the maps, with the completely original Al Raab air base. The popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight mode is also said to be getting new maps in the form of Drainage and Townhouse.

As players explore these new maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, they will also be able to use a pair of new weapons. The previously disclosed Sykov and CX-9 SMG will arrive at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as part of season 7, according to TheGamingRevolution, with the weapons part of Modern war instead of Cold War Black Ops.

Again, fans should take this information with a big grain of salt until official word comes from Activision. As it stands, the only new confirmed content to come Call of Duty is through Cold War Black Ops Season 2 is set to launch later this week, February 25.
