The Democratic Party has not proposed any policy ideas in the current Democratic National Convention, Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway said Thursday.

“The Democratic Convention has tried to document the civil war that is going on within this party, they have a lot of these politicians going back decades who present more moderately than their current young base. The young base is rioting in cities across the country right now, ”Hemingway said“ Outnumbered ”.

The president is expected to deliver his speech Thursday afternoon just outside Biden’s birthplace in Scranton, Pa., And just hours before the former vice president officially accepts the Democratic nomination for president.

Hemingway said that during the national convnetion, Democrats placed more emphasis on “identity politics” than politics.

“Identity is the most important thing for a lot of these politicians as opposed to what they actually would do,” Hemingway said.

“By not talking about politics, it leaves that field open, where most of what people see is that in democratic cities, in democratic states, where cities are controlled by democratic mayors and ADs. democrats, you have people who commit gratuitous violence for nothing. being done against that. … Even though you have these sweet old people talking throughout the convention, it masks what everyone can see with their own eyes happening across the country.

According to remarks prepared by President Trump and obtained by Fox News, he should criticize Biden for leaving the people of Pennsylvania behind.

“Tonight Joe Biden will be speaking at the Democratic Convention – and I’m sure he’ll remind us that he was born in Scranton,” Trump will say, according to prepared remarks. “But here is what Joe Biden will NOT tell you: he left Scranton 70 years ago and has spent the last half century in Washington selling and ripping you off!”

The president should add that “Joe Biden spent five decades in Washington betraying the people of Scranton. Joe Biden is not a friend of Pennsylvania – he is your worst nightmare.”

The president is expected to speak out against Biden’s policies, including his work on trade deals and what Trump calls his “soft” stance on China.
