Atlanta's mother who allegedly killed her daughter – a former NBC 4 trainee in New York – and her son at home before committing suicide escaped with joy for the two children in her last post on Instagram.
Marsha Edwards was last posted on Instagram on Wednesday, the same day, all three were found dead from gunshot wounds at Cobb County townhouse.

The 58-year-old mother reportedly shot and killed her daughter, Erin Edwards, 20, and her son, Christopher Edwards, 24, local police told NBC affiliate WTHR.

On June 7, Marsha shared a post on Instagram with a screenshot of one of Erin's latest signatures.

The Edwards family was well known in their community in Atlanta.
Marsha founded a medical equipment supply company. The children's father – and Marsha's former husband, Dr. Christopher Edwards – is a surgeon from the Atlanta area.
He is also chairman of the Atlanta Housing Board, said a family spokesman at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
