The Steelers added depth to the wide receiver, accepting the terms of the contract with unrestricted free agent Donte Moncrief on a two-year contract.

"We are pleased to have a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers to Donte Moncrief," said Kevin Colbert, General Manager. "We think it's a great addition to our broad group of receivers and we look forward to his contributions to our offensive in 2019."

Moncrief played for the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. He has collected 48 passes for a total of 668 yards and three touchdowns, while starting 14 of 16 games.

Moncrief was originally drafted by the Colts of Indianapolis in the third round of the NFL draft in 2014, making it the 90th overall choice. He spent four seasons with the Colts before signing a one-year contract with the Jaguars last year.

With the Colts, he had his best season in 2015, with career highs with 64 receptions for 733 yards. He also added six touchdowns in 2015 and a seven-touch record in 2016. He had 152 receptions for 1,875 yards and 18 touchdowns in four seasons with the Colts.

For his career, he has 200 receptions for 2,543 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Moncrief will join a Steelers receivers' corps of JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington, Ryan Switzer, Eli Rogers, Diontae Spencer and Ka'Raun White. The Steelers traded Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders on March 13 and Justin Hunter and Darrius Heyward-Bey became unrestricted free agents.
