Monster 64C / 128T in the 4th quarter of 2019

I've had interesting conversations with several industry sources over the last few weeks during my two weeks on different shows (Computex, AMD Next Horizon Gaming, E3 2019 and something secret), but a few words interesting have been reported about Ryzen Threadripper.

In previous rumors it seemed like the fate of the next generation of Threadripper was bad, but these sources – and now WCCFTech Similarly, have confirmed that a new part of HEDT is actually in preparation. My sources have not talked about the chipset, but have confirmed the claim of a new generation Threadripper, while WCCFTech has announced that the X599 chipset will be launched with the third generation Threadripper.

Ryzen's third-generation AMD Threadripper will be deployed on the 7nm node powered by the new Zen 2 architecture, while switching to a whopping 64 cores and 128 threads. This means that we are looking at the EPYC's "Rome" territory, so expect the price to be quite epic too.

WCCFTech claims between $ 2,500 and $ 3,000, which would make it an incredible processor for its price. As they point out, Intel sells a 18-core processor at around $ 1,800, which means a chip of $ 2,500 at 64C / 128T would be an absolute. game changer.

We will report more as we go, for now … we are waiting.
