Monster Hunter Rise and Ghost of Tsushima win the 2021 Japan Game Awards

CESA announced the winners of the 2021 Japan Game Awards at the Tokyo Game Show. It recognized the best performing developers and games released in Japan from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.

CESA hosted the Japan Game Awards at the same time as the annual Tokyo Game Show. During the 2020 edition, he awarded the biggest Grand Prix to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The Japan Game Awards 2021 included an unusual event. The CESA awarded the Grand Prix not to one, but to two games simultaneously. Ghost of Tsushima is immediately available on PlayStation 4 and 5. Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on Nintendo Switch, with a PC version slated for January 12, 2022.
