Expansion is launched on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th
CAPCOM started broadcasting a trailer Tuesday for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the new extension of the Monster Hunter World Game. The video presents the new Old Everywyrm monster.
The expansion will be launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6 and on PC via Steam in January 2020. The expansion will include a new story that will begin after the events of the main game, as well as new ranks of quests, locations, monsters, movements and equipment.
Monster Hunter World launched worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018, and sold to 5 million copies worldwide (including digital sales) during its first three days franchise record. CAPCOM then launched the PC game last August. The game has been shipped to 12 million copies worldwide as of May 10. Monster Hunter The series was delivered to 54 million copies worldwide as of March 31st.
