Monster Hunter World has a free trial on PS4

If Monster Hunter World escaped you completely when it came out last year, you can make up for lost time by trying it right now during a free trial on PS4.

Until May 20, the owners of PlayStation 4 will be able to play through the early parts of the monstrously fun game of Capcom.

If you access the trial version, you will discover two of the five complete game sites: Wildspire Waste and the old forest. You can do quests, explore and play online with players who own the full game. If you decide that you want to continue chasing monsters and you want to get the full title, any progress you make during the test will be postponed.

Time to kill

This test is perfectly timed for new players as Capcom recently unveiled its DLC for Monster Hunter World, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. If this trailer caught your attention, the free trial is a great way to test the basic game before you commit when the release comes out in September of this year.

In our review, we recommended Monster Hunter World for "Play It Now" for its "careful refinement" and energy for the classic series. If you start the free trial now, you'll have a good number of days to see what's going on.
