Montrezl Harrell unveils new signature shoe, TREZZ1

The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off the free agency clash by signing reigning sixth man of the year Montrezl Harrell and it didn’t take long for the 6-foot-7 fighter to fully embrace the Laker Nation. .

Following his surprising move, Harrell revealed its signatures sneak, the TREZZ1. Of course, the new kicks won’t feature anything other than the iconic purple and gold colors.

Trez gave a shout to Devlin Carter of the SIA collective for helping to design the kicks. Montrezl Harrell added that he would release more information on the technology used for his new signature Lakers-themed shoes.

After winning the Sixth Man of the Year award last season, many believed this would be the year Harrell would withdraw his free agency money. Instead, the former Los Angeles Clippers big man opted to sign a two-year, $ 19 million contract with the defending champions – with the second year being a player option.

Despite becoming the league’s top reserve last year, Harrell has had a pretty tumultuous season with the Clippers. The team certainly had a championship-caliber roster built around star forwards Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. However, they never really gelled as a unit throughout the regular season.

Sometimes they looked like the most dominant team in all of basketball. But in some cases, they didn’t look like a real title contender. The Clippers’ roller coaster campaign culminated with a disappointing playoff series that saw them stifle a 3-1 second-round lead over the Denver Nuggets, preventing a much-anticipated Western Conference Finals showdown with the future champions, the Lakers.

Now Harrell joins a Lakers team looking to repeat as NBA champions. Although he didn’t make a big salary, Harrell is fortunate enough to win a championship with his new team.

Lakers, Danny Green, Avery Bradley, Rajon Rondo, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Dwight Howard
