More Forza Horizon 5 cars revealed – GTPlanet

Just a day after I started browsing the official launch car list for Forza Horizon 5, Playground Games took to social media to reveal even more than hundreds of stable vehicles that will be playable at launch in November.

Tuesday’s feed officially revealed a selection of new Ford and Porsche models for the first time – though eagle-eyed fans may have spotted one or two in previous videos, and Ford is featured in the show again. gentle dissemination of information today. For the most part, this really reiterates what we saw in the feed, although we do see an additional vehicle and the official names of the cars in the game.

Of course, the base 2021 Bronco will serve as one of the game’s two cover cars (or rather two of the three), and has appeared in a number of images and videos ahead of the announcement, so we don’t. is therefore not unknown. It’s joined by a Ford Performance version built to take on the 2019 Baja 1000, the Bronco R # 2069.

As well as the confirmed 1975 Bronco, a return model of FH4 so not announced here, a fourth Bronco comes from Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s RTR shop stable. The 720 hp Ultra 4 Bronco “Brocky” is designed for racing in the desert, so it should be ideal for FH5Mexican biomes.

One of the most suitable cars for the game is the Ford Racing Escort Mk1, listed as a 1967 car. It was actually the car that raced in the 16,000 mile London-Mexico rally at the hands of Hannu Mikola. , and won with a time of just over nine hours. No, it didn’t reach an average speed of 1,800 mph; it was the total time penalty for exceeding the stage time limits, and the lowest of the entire peloton. Just as the car has raced from the UK to Mexico, so has the Horizon Festival.

Finally, there’s the Ford F-450 Super Duty pickup truck, a six-wheeled double cab that should fit into the local auto scene very well.

In addition to images of the all-new Fords, Playground Games has unveiled the full list of cars from the Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG brands in FH5.

Mercedes-Benz (16)

  • 2014 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6 × 6
  • 2014 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5023
  • 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG
  • 2013 Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG
  • 2013 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG
  • 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series
  • 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

  • 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe
  • 1939 Mercedes-Benz W154
  • 1929 Mercedes-Benz Super Sport Short Barker Roadster

With the obvious exception of the AMG One cover car, the other 20 cars come directly from Forza Horizon 4, and all are in the game at launch. This brings the pre-war Barker Roadster to the main car list, whereas it was a paid DLC vehicle previously in the Car Pass.

In particular, the two lists have shrunk a little. In AMG’s case, the pre-order version of the 2017 GT R is missing – the original remains – but so is the 2015 GT S model. The Benz roster was further refined, with the SL65 Black in regular and Forza Edition forms, the 1967 280SL and the 1955 300 SLR race car all missing. Of course, all can return in time via DLC packs or updates.

The E350 “Project E-AT” wagon is also missing from the list. This car, built for Top Gear’s Tom Ford by Ralph Hosier Engineering in the UK, appeared in FH4Top Gear Story, which might suggest that this particular side quest won’t appear in FH5.

Although a little disappointing, the listings give some optimism about the number of cars planned for Forza Horizon 5. They are largely taken directly from FH4, which suggests that gamers can reasonably expect a launch car roster of a similar magnitude to its predecessor’s final car count.

There’s still a little over 10 weeks until the game goes into Early Access, so we’re sure there will be a lot more information to come!
