All courses at Bethlehem Central High School will be taught remotely until December 4.
The school district announced it was adding distance learning week on Friday after learning that the person who tested positive for the coronavirus had come into close contact with others. Several classes will be quarantined due to contact with the individual.

3:35 p.m., Friday: Grim milestone: Capital region reaches 400th coronavirus death
A resident of Troy nursing home has died from complications from COVID-19, Rensselaer County officials confirmed on Friday. She is the 400th person in the region to die after contracting the virus which has now killed nearly 260,000 Americans.
The victim, 87, was a resident of Eddy Heritage House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, which has been battling a coronavirus outbreak since early November. Dozens of residents and staff have been infected as a result of the outbreak, county officials said. Read more.
