Huawei's cameras have become exceptional in recent years and, earlier this month, the company unveiled more phones with excellent performance. While the P30 and P30 Pro have already turned heads with its 5x optical zoom, its performance in low light conditions seem to exceed in some cases the night vision of Pixel.
Both phones have only been announced a few days ago, so extensive evaluations are not yet available. However, examples of shooting are gaining social media and YouTube, and some are really impressive.
So

The tweet above of Vlad Savov, editor of The Verge, shows that the P30 Pro is able to shoot a lot more details of total darkness than the Pixel 3. While the photo of the Pixel is still impressive given the total darkness, the photo of the P30 Pro is much sharper. Vlad shared another collection of samples, which is also very impressive:

Ironically, the P30 Pro seems to take pictures with low light in its night mode compared to its normal mode, at least in terms of white balance. In the images below of Basil Kronfli (from the YouTube channel, let's talk about technology), the night mode photo of the P30 Pro is much more saturated than the same picture taken in normal mode.
Night Sight on the Pixel 3 left, auto on the P30 Pro in the center, night mode on the P30 Pro right. Huawei must now adjust its white balance in night mode to be as efficient as its automatic mode. As impressive as it is, it was almost dark # HuaweiP30Pro #EquipePixel pic.twitter.com/i6kAozC8YS

Another impressive example comes from Ben Sin, where the P30 Pro easily beats iPhone XS and Galaxy S10 + in low light mode. All pictures were taken in normal P30 camera mode.
The iPhone camera is good in many ways, but in low light, it can not be suspended. Here are pictures that I just took in my dark room near the field pic.twitter.com/VwukXFE4UZ

Here are some additional examples:
The extent to which the P30 Pro in normal auto mode completely clears the night vision of pixels still blows me. These shots were taken together in the light, where I could barely see anything. ? pic.twitter.com/SflTo1rOiS

It's great to see smartphone cameras becoming more and more impressive. Phones like the P30 Pro will finally push Google to include another camera (or two, or three) on the Pixel 4.
