More signs of an impending launch of Biden 2020, while shooting an advertisement turns to confusion

New signs have emerged this week, indicating that everything but some, former Vice President Joe Biden, would announce a presidential campaign very soon.

One of these signals came on Thursday when Biden – a long-time friend of the labor movement – traveled to Boston to talk with striking supermarket workers in southern New England.

It is a very intentional gesture.

But another sign appeared by accident.

Supporters of the former vice president filmed a Spanish advertisement in South Florida over the weekend. The rumor of the shooting was supposed to remain silent, and Politico reported that local actors paid to take part in the advertisement were invited to sign non-disclosure agreements promising not to discuss filming.

However, some images were published on social media, which triggered a series of e-mail warnings requesting the removal of images.

"We are in a tricky situation with a campaign and a client because someone has filtered images," he said Monday to email to the actors Politico had obtained. The e-mail speculated that the images came from "some mothers taking pictures / videos of their children while they were being filmed".

It is unclear whether Biden's presidential campaign was behind advertising – or whether it was American Possibilities, the political committee that supported the former vice president or another group.

Meanwhile, Biden will be speaking Thursday in Boston to striking workers at Stop & Shop in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.

About 31,000 employees in the grocery chain in southern New England have been on strike since last week. The chain – the largest in New England – is one of the last unionized supermarkets in the industry.

Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, presidential candidate for Massachusetts, spoke on Friday with striking employees of Stop & Shop, members of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union.

Later in the day, Biden wrote on Twitter "Over the last 5 years, StopandShop's parent company has bought back billions of dollars in shares. Now they want to reduce the salaries and benefits of employees. It's wrong. I support the 31,000 @UFCW workers who are fighting for health care. Join me and support them. "

Biden's trip to Boston comes a few days before a likely presidential announcement.

Sources close to the former vice president told Fox News that the launch of an election campaign – which would be Biden's third for the White House – would come after Easter, Sunday and perhaps as early as next week. The sources add that campaign staff are being aligned and that Biden's political advisers are hiring staff in the primary states and early-voting caucuses.
