Mortal Kombat 11 could have more DLC characters

Mortal Kombat 11 could have even more DLC characters in 2021. Since then Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate released on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and Google Stadia last November, MK11 went pretty calm. NetherRealm Studios and WB Games continue to support the game, but nothing of great note since the release of Ultimate. Meanwhile, even the game’s teasing and trolling director Ed Boon has been pretty reserved. And this could be due to the fact that the current target is the Mortal combat movie, but it might also change soon.

Back in early 2021, we reported on the news item Mortal combat Acting skills were all starting to return to the recording booth, including the actress behind Kitana. Since then this has continued, although the timing is suspect, so far nothing has been linked to Mortal Kombat 11.

That said, this week it all continued, this time thanks to Phil LaMarr, the voice actor behind Kotal Khan, who revealed he works behind the mic. Again, there is nothing here to suggest that it is Mortal combat-related, but everything starts to attract MK fyears, who in turn are excited about more DLC and DLC characters. That said, like the voice talent behind Kitana, LaMarr is a prolific voice actor, so that could be for a lot of other things.

In the past, rumors and leaks have suggested MK11 always gets more DLC and DLC characters, but you’d guess time is running out for that as the studio is surely working hard on Injustice 3 and not very far from revealing it and releasing it.

Having said that, if MK11 gets more DLC characters, you would bet on one of them being the few major characters still unknown, like Reptile.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available through PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. For more coverage on the best-selling fighting game and everything related to the game – including all the latest news, rumors, leaks and speculation – click here.
