The universal button is active now

Mortal Kombat 11 has seen a change in the way his amplified movements are performed. During Kombat Kast today, the NetherRealm Studios team took the time to report this modification of the combat system.

When the game was first introduced at the Mortal Kombat 11: The Reveal festival last month, fans noticed that to perform amplified movements – optimized versions of special movements using a counter – a single command had to be entered for each attack. Not only were they unique to the characters, but they were also different depending on the movement used. Hellport Scorpio, for example, needed an input up to + 3 to boost while his spear was amplified simply by hitting 2.

According to Kombat Kast, players can now trigger amplified motions in Mortal Kombat 11 by simply pressing the interactive button.

"[To perform an] amplify movement, you simply press Interact. You just hit the right bumper, "Steve" 16-bit "Brownback, quality assurance analyst at NetherRealm, explained live.He adds that this has been simplified from the initial build of the 39, revelation event, and also noted that there were comments from fans on the issue that led to the change.

The original way of Mortal Kombat 11 to perform amplified movements was tedious and added a layer of complexity that did not necessarily exist. Having witnessed the revelation, I can say that the amplified inputs of the game were the only major problem I had with the game.

Considering that the previous games Mortal Kombat and Injustice used a system where improved moves (now amplified in MK11) were initiated with universal pressure, it is nice to see that NetherRealm made this important change to Mortal Kombat 11.
