Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack was meant to introduce Ash Williams

Netherrealm confirmed all the details on the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack but the studio has planned to include a different character instead of the Joker. This character is Ash Williams, the protagonist of the franchise The Evil Dead, who has been quoted in the sequel of the fighting game for a while.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack Had Ash Williams

The news follows a contextual menu in Mortal Kombat 11 that reveals the name of Ash Williams instead of the Joker. You can see the picture on Reddit here. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack includes Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Terminator T-800, Joker, Sindel and Spawn.

The fact that Ash Williams was planned suggests that Joker was set up at the last minute to coincide with the evil Batman's solo film. As such, if another Kombat pack is planned, it is likely that we will see Ash included instead.

The guests are no strangers to the Mortal Kombat franchise. The previous game, Mortal Kombat X, featured playable characters like Predator and Jason Voorhees, while Mortal Kombat (2011) included Kratos exclusively for PS3 and PS Vita.

Mortal Kombat 11 entered stores in April on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Since then, NetherRealm has corrected the game with balance updates, the most recent of which was released earlier this week.

The blood-soaked brawler features a time-traveling storyline featuring classic characters such as Lui Kang, Sonya and Johnny Cage face-to-face with their younger counterparts. New fighters have also been added, including Cetrion, Kollector, Geras, while NetherRealm has expanded customization options for the game and added new demolition techniques.
