The developer of Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm, gave his fans a first look at another playable character. During today's Kombat Kast show, the studio unveiled Kollector, a brand new fighter who debuted in the upcoming fighting game.

"Proud servant of the Outworld Empire, the Kollector cares only about his wealth and status and will kill anyone to keep him," NetherRealm said of the character. Like Goro, the Kollector has four arms that he fully exploits in combat, as you can see in his trailer above. The video also gives us a glimpse of one of Kollector's fatalities, which sees him literally tearing an opponent.

The Kollector is the third playable character announced for MK 11 to date. Earlier this week, NetherRealm revealed Cetrion, an elder god capable of brandishing elemental powers in battle. Before that, the studio had unveiled Geras, the faithful servant of Kronika, the boss of MK 11. Geras has the power to create objects in sand and even to manipulate time.

More than 20 playable characters have been confirmed for the game up to now, including an assortment of favorites like Kung Lao, Liu Kang and Jax, which were revealed at Sony's first presentation on the state NetherRealm also unveiled one of MK 11's DLC characters, Shang Tsung, whose resemblance is this time based on Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who embodied him in the Mortal Kombat movie of 1995.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be launched on April 23 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The Switch version is developed by Shiver Entertainment under the supervision of NetherRealm; we had the opportunity to check at PAX East 2019 and we found that it worked perfectly on the console, despite the visual downgrading.
