Most Improved NFL Teams in Each Division After NFL Draft in 2019 | New draft and NFL analysis

We'll know it on the ground this fall, but we at PFF (and probably you) are impatient. With 254 players selected, everyone wants to know who has made the most progress in their selections. Using the PFF editorial board and our notes on the current list, we selected the team in each division that improved the most over the weekend.

NFC West – Cardinals of Arizona

Our favorite project from any NFL team. They added the number one player to the PFF board (Kyler Murray), then four more in our top 50. All at positions that can affect the passing game. They added our favorite corner to Byron Murphy, Washington, then two different antenna receivers in Massachusetts, Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler from Iowa State.

NFC North – Green Bay Packers

With the addition of the first player, the Packers still tend to win the best result of the North NFC. Even taking Rashan Gary's selection into the mix, the Packers would still have triumphed. Darnell Savage (28th on the PFF board), Mississippi State Center Elgton Jenkins (26th on the PFF board) and Jace Sternberger (67th on the PFF board) in Texas A & M .

NFC East – Washington Redskins

To hit the general ball at 15 and still get their guy to Dwayne Haskins, Washington hit a home run in the first round. The Ohio State Quarterback showed that it was more than enough in its first year to be worthy of the top 10 and not having to give up a capital project to protect it was one of our favorite choices. From there, Montez Sweat has the talent to easily replace Preston Smith on the right side of his defensive line, while Terry McLaurin will reunite his QB to create a serious threat they have not had since leaving Desean Jackson . I would also like it if I did not mention cornerback Jimmy Moreland and James Madison, who was our favorite cornerback in the repechage.

NFC South – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have not only the player having the most impact among the players of the division with linebacker Devin White, but also one of our favorite sleepers in the draft with Anthony Nelson, the attacker defensive of Iowa. Between these two choices, they focused on one thing: the cover. Sean Bunting and Jamel Dean of Auburn scored two points and enjoyed everyone's value with Kentucky's safety Mike Edwards.

AFC East – New York Jets

The total dominance of Quinnen Williams pushes the Jets on the Bills for us. There is little doubt that we will make him one of the best domestic NFL troublers from day one. Even without a second-round pick, the Jets continued to add influential talent to high-value positions. They caught Jachai Polite on top of the third and Chuma Edoga on the bottom. Polite earned a score of more than 90.0 points in the pass last year in Florida, but his stock was subject to a horrible pre-draft process. Edoga is a bit of a project at the attack but impressed at the Senior Bowl with the second highest win rate of all participants.

AFC South – Titans of Tennessee

Each player selected by the Titans was ranked higher on the PFF Selection Table than the one in which they were selected. Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons was named one of the top 10 players on our board at age 19. We would not have beaten an eye if Ole Miss was sidelined by A.J. Brown was actually the choice for the Titans at 19 and instead, they got our second wide receiver with the 51st overall pick. They crowned the match with one of the project flights, bringing Amani Hooker (the 44th ranked PFF player) in the middle of the fourth round to 116 overall.

AFC North – Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh made one of the biggest moves of the first round when he played for Devin Bush. After Bush and Devin White, there was not a single linebacker in the class who could replicate his cover abilities. From there, they got two other favorites from PFF wide receiver Toledo, Diontae Johnson, and Michigan State cornerback Justin Layne. Johnson has presented his compositions to Antonio Brown from a stylistic perspective inside PFF's offices, while Layne is much more suited to covering areas than the former Artie Burns.

AFC West – Chargers of Los Angeles

The Raiders may have had a bigger result, but the Chargers have added more quality in our opinion. They added two players in the top 30 of PFF (Jerry Tillery 7, Nasir Adderley 27) compared to zero for the Raiders. Both come to monstrous positions of need. Tillery should be an upgrade from Corey Liuget right out of the gate, and Adderley is the perfect flagship for Derfield James.
