The Twitch Rivals Doritos Bowl tournament will once again pit Warzone players against each other, and this time it will be for a grand prize of $ 250,000. Here’s everything you need to know about the event, including how to register to participate, when it will take place, and what it entails.

When does the Twitch Rivals Warzone event take place?

The event’s Open Qualifiers will kick off at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET on December 3. This is when which teams move forward will be determined and while qualifying is open, you can only join them if you are a Twitch Partner or Twitch Affiliate.

Two days will then be spent trying to select the absolute best players from the established teams. On December 8 and 16, teams will face off in the tournament starting at 2 p.m. PT | Starting at 5 p.m. ET.

How to participate in the Twitch Rivals Warzone event

If you are a Twitch streamer, simply head to the Twitch Rivals website to sign up. The site will check if you are a captain or a teammate and confirm that you are over 18. Then just enter your email address and select the right options to complete your registration.

If this is successful, you will be notified of your progress. Unfortunately, not all Affiliates and Partners will be able to participate, so keep this in mind when applying.

Twitch Rivals Warzone format

Usually, Warzone tournaments would have you compete in single death races against other players, but they change things for this event. If you make it to the first Show Day, you’ll see 49 trios compete against each other in five private lobbies.

The teams will get points for the eliminations, and the 24 teams with the most points accumulated will advance to the second round. Five more lobbies will be filled with teams competing against each other on the second Show Day.
