Mother of Florida teenager shot dead at funeral service, officials say

The mother of a Florida teenager who was shot dead by a sheriff’s deputy this month was injured during her funeral service on Saturday.

The injuries were not considered fatal, authorities said.

Cops said the boy, who has not been identified, is not cooperating with investigators.

The shooting sent dozens of people in mourning search for their cars as Sincere’s coffin was lowered to his grave, Florida Today said.

Her mother was placed in a van and taken to a local hospital before the police arrived.

Sincere and Angelo Crooms, 16, were both killed when two Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies – Jafet Santiago-Miranda and Carson Hendren – attempted to question them during a traffic stop on November 13.
