According to documents from Kenosha prospectors on Wednesday, Rittenhouse, his mother, and several other adults arrived at Pudgy’s Pub on Washington Avenue. Rittenhouse was at the bar for about an hour and a half, according to prosecutors. He was wearing a t-shirt that said “Free as F ***”.

After arriving outside at the bar, Rittenhouse posed for photos with two other men in his group. In these photos, Rittenhouse and the other men flashed the “OK” sign, which was co-opted as a “white power” sign by white supremacists, prosecutors said.

After posing for photos, Rittenhouse walked into the bar and was served a beer by the bartender, the move says. He consumed a total of three beers during his time at Pudgy’s.

Within minutes of entering the bar, Rittenhouse was also “heavily serenaded” by five adult men in his group with the song “Proud of Your Boy” – an obscure song written for the 1992 Disney film “Aladdin,” prosecutors.

The white supremacist group, the Proud Boys, was actually named after this song, and the song is sung by members of the group, the motion reads.

Rittenhouse posed for several more photos with the men in the bar. In each of those photos, Rittenhouse and the other men flashed the “OK” sign used by white supremacists, prosecutors said.

“The accused then stayed with these ‘Proud Boys’ the whole time he was at the bar,” the motion reads.

Prosecutors therefore argue in their petition that Rittenhouse should not first be allowed to possess or consume alcohol. They claim that Rittenhouse was 17 when he allegedly shot the three victims; that he is now 18 years old and resides in Illinois; that consumption can increase the likelihood of violent crime – combined with the fact that Rittenhouse is charged with Wisconsin’s most serious criminal offense, first degree intentional homicide, they say.

Prosecutors also argue that Rittenhouse should be barred from associating with known members of the militia or known members of any violent, white power or white supremacist group. They say the group has pleaded for violence, has been involved in extremist rallies and movements, and that its members have been arrested for committing crimes.

Prosecutors write: “The accused’s continued association with members of a group that prides itself on violence and the use of their symbols raises a significant possibility of future harm. In addition, this association can be used to intimidate potential witnesses, who may not want to testify in this case because they may fear that the accused’s associates will harm them or their families. “

Rittenhouse will return to Kenosha County Court on March 10 for his final pre-trial appearance.
