Motorcycle Builder Voxan Teams with Champion Max Biaggi for Electrical Speed ​​Record Attempt

Speed ​​records are not really relevant for production cars for decades. However, with regard to electricity, top speed remains a relevant measure, as technology is increasingly accepted, particularly in motorcycles.

The rider is a known entity because Max Biaggi is a two-time Superbike World Champion and has already raced well in MotoGP. The bike is called Voxan Wattman and it's a little less known. Voxan belongs to the electric car company Venturi, which also owns its own Formula E team. The record attempt will take place on the salines of Bolivia.

Driver Jim Hoogerhyde set the current record in electric motorcycle. In 2013, he tested a Lightning SB220 electric bike at a speed of 203.566 km / h (96.566 mph). Biaggi's attempt on the Voxan will aim for a speed of 205 mph to make it a solid victory. I have enough problems at 100 on a motorcycle, I would not like to see the north side twice more. Max Biaggi, however, should have no trouble keeping a quiet hand at these speeds.

Voxan claims that the Wattman is the most powerful electric motorcycle in the world with 200 horsepower and 147 horsepower. It is said that the bike goes from zero to 100 in less than six seconds.
