OnePlus is not the only phone company to want to launch an Android TV in the Indian market. Motorola has unveiled a range of Android TVs at its own event, designed specifically for and in India. The new range of televisions offers wider viewing angles thanks to IPS panels with HDR10 high brightness support, as well as more powerful audio chops, all powered by Android TV.

It's almost the most tedious announcement you'll ever look at.

The TVs will be offered in six different models ranging from 32 "to 65", covering a range of resolutions ranging from low end to UHD for larger models. They must all be IPS panels for wider viewing angles, with high brightness and HDR support. The chipset powering the new Motorola TVs is not set, but it's a 1.1 GHz quad-core SoC associated with 2.25 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, as well as a Mali GPU (also undefined), all running Android TV via Android 9.

As for the sound, you get a pair of 30W front speakers. And for those who want to play Android games on the big screen, it comes with an Xbox 360 type Bluetooth controller. The TVs will be even made in India.

Price for Motorola Android TVs.

Prices range from INR 13,999 to 64,999, depending on size and specifications. They will be available on Flipkart from September 29th for the company's "Big Billion Days" event.

Looks like OnePlus has some competition in the high-end market of cheap Android TV in India. With the OnePlus launch event in India, scheduled for September 26, we will soon know how the Motorola product line compares.
