Motorola Moto Z4 obtains early price reductions at Best Buy

Yesterday, after Motorola's announcement of the Moto Z4 – the only Moto Z this year – the company began taking pre-orders for the unlocked variant of the phone. As a top-of-the-range handset, the Moto Z4 is not overpriced, but certainly not cheap either. While Motorola charges $ 499.99 for the unlocked Z4, we discovered today that you could buy the cheaper phone by buying it at Best Buy.

Best Buy saves you $ 50 on the unlocked Moto Z4 if you activate it on AT & T or Verizon (thus paying $ 449 for the smartphone), or $ 100 if you activate it on Sprint (thus paying $ 399). The handset can also be used on T-Mobile and most other mobile phone service providers in the United States, but in this case, no discounts are available.

Like Motorola, Best Buy is currently only making pre-orders for the new phone and plans to launch it on June 6th. No matter where you pre-order your unlocked Moto Z4, the device will come with 360 degree Moto Mod Camera which is normally priced at $ 199.

Effective June 13, Verizon Wireless will sell its own Moto Z4 – starting at $ 240 if you activate a new line of services. You can connect the handset to Verizon's 5G network, but only if you buy an optional 5G Moto Mod, which costs $ 199 more.

Running on Android 9 Pie, the Motorola Moto Z4 is a very large phone with a 6.4-inch OLED display of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a slim frame. The handset also offers a built-in fingerprint scanner, splash resistance, a 48 MP rear camera and a 24 MP front camera. Other noteworthy features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable internal memory and a 3,600mAh battery that can last up to 2 days in normal use.
