Computex 2019 is fast approaching, and in addition to massive announcements like the expected output of Ryzen 3000 processors and AMD Navi graphics cards, many other companies have kits to display. MSI is one of them because it has upgraded its compact gaming computer, the MSI Trident X, with new interns from Nvidia and Intel.
The new MSI Trident X Plus adds to the enhanced models of two MSI notebooks, the GE65 Raider and the GT76 Titan.
The new Trident model will feature the 9th generation Intel Core i9 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards for optimal gaming performance, all in a 10-liter package.
MSI says it makes the new Trident X Plus the smallest desktop computer in the world with a new generation Core i9 processor. A gaming computer is as good as the devices you use it with, and MSI has a whole suite to pair with its latest computers.
The company has new keyboards and mice to come, but we have not yet found the best company to offer the best gaming keyboards or game mice in the past. However, it also offers some new monitors and an earlier MSI Optix monitor, rated among our best gaming monitors.
MSI has a new Optix 4K monitor with a curved 31.5-inch screen. It is positioned as a small replacement TV with FreeSync and an input offset of less than 10 ms. There is also the ultra-fast Oculus NXG25R monitor with a full HD display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms.
MSI also offers the new Optix MPG341CQR monitor with a large, curved 3440 x 1440 display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and an input delay of 1 ms for smooth gaming. It also offers a 21: 9 image format for a cinematic experience complemented by HDR support with HDR 400 (we assume it's VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification).
MSI also completes its offering with two new series of PC cases. Again, price and availability information is not yet available, which we hope to get from MSI at the Taipei show.
