President Trump paid tribute to the Boston Red Sox on Thursday at a ceremony at the White House commemorating the club's victory in the 2018 World Series, but a guest from the MSNBC channel launched a shot at the commander in chef during the celebration.
Ron Klain, former chief of staff of former Vice Presidents Al Gore and Joe Biden, appeared on MSNBC and told anchor Nicole Wallace that White House's championship visits were supposed to bring the country but that the visit of the Red Sox favored division – something that the president bangs deliberately.

"Among the many and many sad chapters of Donald Trump, he loves to divide our country as a country. I bet he was happy today to be able to say that the white players were there and the colored players were not, "said Klain while Wallace shook his head silently.
Klain added, "This is the kind of division he deliberately maintains. It is quite the opposite of presidents – democrats or republicans, liberals or conservatives – around this kind of events. "
Trump made no mention of the players who did not show up for the ceremony. The manager Alex Cora, the most useful player in the American League Mookie Betts, the field player Jackie Bradley Jr. and the pitcher David Price were part of it. He described the Red Sox as an "unstoppable" team that had "a spectacular victory".
