Fox News broadcast the majority of the impeachment hearing on Wednesday in addition to opening statements from prosecution officials and Trump’s legal team on Tuesday.

Maddow later returned his tweet to clarify that Fox News aired the impeachment trial on Wednesday, but left his initial tweet with the false statement.

MSNBC did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
