Murkowski is one of the handful of GOP national elected officials who have recognized Biden’s victory in the 2020 election. The vast majority of Republican senators and members of Congress either avoided taking a stand on the election outcome, backed down. on the president’s side or suggested the outcome was still in question in recent weeks.
The president launched legal efforts in Pennsylvania and several other states in the days following the election and raised unproven allegations of widespread voter fraud in the media. The campaign’s legal efforts have so far failed to gain traction.
Earlier Sunday, the president targeted another GOP elected official who called on him to concede the election, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (right), by sharing a story from Breitbart on Twitter that COVID testing -19 that Hogan obtained in a deal with South Korean officials were “flawed” and unusable by state officials.
