It’s officially “My Guys” season at PFF. To create this year’s ‘My Guys’ list for 2021 Fantasy Football, I decided to compare my 2021 Fantasy Football rankings to that of my colleagues, starting with the players I ranked higher than anyone else. at the PFF in both PPR rankings. as a positional ranking. From there, I narrowed down the roster to five players that I found myself writing most often.

This post is dedicated to the NFL players I’m most proud to enter Fantasy Football 2021 – the players I’m most confident of have a stellar season and exceed expectations.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami dolphins

My rank: QB15 | Underdog ADP: QB18

The fifth overall pick of 2020 had a forgettable first season, but several of Tua’s issues were beyond his control. Two of Miami’s top four wide receivers before the season have pulled out, and another, Preston Williams, only lasted a game and a half after Tagovailoa was named a starter before landing on the injured reserve.

DeVante Parker only played 60% of the Dolphins’ offensive snaps with the rookie QB due to injury. Miami trotted eight other wide receivers throughout Tua’s time as a starter – none played more than 50% of the snaps or achieved a PFF rating above 70.

The Dolphins have turned their weakness into a strength this offseason, bringing Will fuller Texans and the editorial staff Jaylen waddles. Fuller was seventh with 0.33 fantasy points per snap last season. His four deep touchdowns were more than the rest of Miami’s receivers combined, while his 314 passing yards nearly doubled the Dolphins’ best deep threat. Miami passed the sixth pick overall in 2021 on dynamic Jaylen Waddle – the Tagovailoa varsity teammate led his class in yards per route traveled during his college career.

Tua was the No.2 prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft according to PFF big board. He should benefit significantly from a full training camp and more consistency in the wide receiver.
