CHEF COACH CHAD RILEY & # 39; S TAKE

On the performance of the team …
"We are obviously disappointed with the result. We went out not as intense and strong as we should have. Clemson had a bit of luck with the first goal, but they started well and managed to get the ball into our half of the field. We reacted well to get the goal, then a clearance fell on one of theirs in the area, which left us behind.

"Then we started the half-time with a confusing moment for their third goal, but congratulating their player for finishing it. I'm proud of the group that fought until the last minute, but we were not precise enough tonight and did not start with enough intensity.

NOTES OF THE GAME

  • Notre Dame scored a total of 10 goals in her first four games of the season.
  • Lynn has already surpassed last season's total of three goals with four goals in just four games.
